I sent him to a Washington Wizards vs. Miami Heat basketball game with a friend at the Verizon Center.
We ate pancakes and papaya.
We had presents, and flowers, and cake.
Overall, I thought it was pretty nice.
But then on Sunday we went to a casual dinner at a friend's place, and just that one dinner had more balloons and chaotic excitement than Deenesh's whole birthday.
hmmm...perhaps next year I'll invite more toddlers to Deenesh's birthday just to liven things up.
