Ways in which having a baby is like having a puppy…

• Utter love and fascination for friends of the feline persuasion, which inevitably is not reciprocated (nothing more enticing than a cat tail)

• Learns new tricks, but then won’t perform them on command
• Needs lots of chew toys
• Everything around the house is dripping with slobber
• They get you a lot of attention when you go out in public
• You can’t wait for the day they are potty trained
• Awesome cuddling
• You dream of when they will start sleeping through the night
• You go to the park more once you have them
• They both like to chew on shoes
  
• It's hard to resist forgiving them for biting you when they look at you with their big, puppy dog eyes
• You just have to accept that at some point you are going to get peed on.

Speaking of tricks… our new favorite is that Asher will raise his arms up to us when he wants us to pick him up.
