The kid is too busy, he's doing things and constantly moving. Begging/Cajoling/Threatening might get him to look at the camera for about 1/1000 of a second. He's at the age that when he "smiles" for the camera it's one of the overly big forced smiles of a, well, 4 year old.
So it's hard to get a photo that just looks like Asher.
But this. This is what Asher looks like at age 4.

Tara's got nothing over Asher when it comes to hair. It's thick and wavy and beautifully dark. You just want to grab it and bury your fingers in it.
