Every day of my pregnancy with Asher I would sing "You are my sunshine" to him
Once he was born I would sing it to him several times a day, and as he got older I would sing it to him every night before he went to bed.
I imagined it would become a special song between us.
Apparently to Asher though, it is just a song that I sing when I want him to go to sleep. No matter where we are or what we are doing, if I try to sing it to him now I can't get through the first line before he gives an emphatic "No."

He didn't have a problem with me singing it to him in the car - maybe he likes me best!!
