Exercise routine

With the weather being so cold Deenesh hasn't been able to get out as much to get his exercise. Asher, as usual, is willing to provide an alternative workout routine.

Saving some for later

mmmm....yummy spaghetti.

I'll just say that I think we are lucky that Asher declined spaghetti sauce tonight and ate his noodles plain instead.

Some mad dancing skills

And just as a side note - I'm not sure where Asher got the idea it was okay to dance on top of the coffee table - much less on his step stool on top of the coffee table. My back was hurting (joy of pregnancy) so I was lying down in the other room. And I have to admit, totally worth breaking the rules for a cute video like this.

Naptime

Asher didn't want to take a nap so he decided to sit in his rocking chair instead.

Peculiar Toddler Behavior

This evening Asher brought his Elmo chair into the kitchen and then carefully arranged several of his toys around it.

When I advised him that I didn't think that was a good idea because someone might trip and fall on them he very kindly suggested, "Go around Mommy."

Ah. Thank you then.

Where's the baby?

If you ask Asher where the baby is, he'll still tell you that it's in his tummy.

But despite what he claims, it's in mine.

And it is starting to show.

"I allowed"

Asher’s newest argument when he’s told he can’t do something, such as kicking the backs of the seats in the car, is a simple, authorative “No, I allowed”.

Oh! Are you really? Huh, I thought I was the one that decided what you are and aren’t allowed to do, but I guess you must know something I don’t.
