The days of Asher's toothless grin are coming to an end. We just discovered the first white glimmer peaking out from his lower gums.

What's funny is that it seemed to come out of nowhere. He had been drooling and complaining quite a bit while we were in Texas, but then it all just seemed to stop. Deenesh secretly decided that I had just been imagining things, and that Asher had just been grumpy about other things. And then, all of a sudden, with no additional complaining, it was just there.

Rolling Over

Asher finally gave in to parental pressure and decided to roll over. Back to front only - but still it's a start.

Unfortunately he also kept practicing it in his sleep. He woke us up 4 times last night crying because he had rolled onto his tummy and was trying to sleep.

Unassisted Sitter

As of today Asher is officially an unassisted sitter. We are so very proud. Of course, he still stubbornly refuses to turn over. Oh well. I guess you can't have it all.
